Word. Here we go.
New York Knicks aquire 29th pick for cash considerations.
Sources report the Lakers have sold their 29th overall pick to the Knicks for $3 million in cash. The Los Angeles Lakers have been shopping this pick lately and finally unloaded it. That leaves the Lakers with the 42nd and 59th picks. This goes with their off-season plans of keeping their free agents, Lamar Odom, Trevor Ariza and Shannon Brown. Funny how Shannon Brown goes from a throw in months ago to a “coveted” free agent.
As for the Knicks, where do we start? Of course we all blame Isiah and I highly doubt there is anyone out there than can argue with that. Shit, we still owe the Chicago Bulls next years 1st round pick from the amazing Eddy Curry trade. Yeah that has worked out real well for us. His fat ass can’t even last 5 minutes in conditioning workouts. Anyway, the Knicks now have 2 picks overall with the 8th overall being the other. With all the trades going on in the last few days impacting the draft, it’s hard to say who they will take at the 8th spot. One rumor was Jordan Hill from Arizona. He is a PF who loves to play the boards. Now you may ask, why him when they have David Lee? Well, they may let him walk this summer as a free agent because it’s all about 2010. Business is business but I’ll miss him. Double double MACHINE. I’m glad the Knicks picked up a second pick though because one pick a year isn’t cutting it when you have needs at every position. I’m hoping for Stephen Curry because he would thrive (understatement) under D’Antoni’s system. Oh imagine him pulling up on 3s all night. But now Minnesota holds the 5 and 6 picks due to a trade with the Wizards. They are reportedly going to take Curry. If Curry is gone, then the Knicks should get a point guard. There are plenty of young ones in this year’s draft and it’s a good foundation for going forward. Just don’t take Hill please. I’ll get all my answers within the next couple hours. Go Knicks!!

Well, the shitty Knicks picked your boy Jordan Hill. Now what?
I think this kid is way overrated just b/c of his size. Lacks athletic ability but is a strong inside presence. Lets not forget…he played in the softee Pac 10. That doesnt bode well for the league’s most pathetic organization.

This was one of the craziest drafts I can remember. Trades all over the place, Minny picking 3 point guards, James Harden going third. Now we got Hill so thanks David Lee, it’s been fun. Good luck. Soooooo close to Curry. It’s all about 2010 is all I can keep telling myself.

I would cling on to David Lee. The Knicks always botch their draft picks. Lee was one of the better picks of late and they’re gonna get rid of him now. Atleast the Nets wont be the doormat of the Atlantic Division. We’ll leave that to the Knickerbockers
