Rumors swirl around Southern California as a possible trade may be in place to send All Star San Diego Padres’ right hander Jake Peavy to the Chicago White Sox. In fact, the trade has already been agreed on by the two teams. However, Peavy has a “no-trade” clause in his contract, so no deal can be made without the starter’s approval.

At this point, the deal includes 2 pitchers from the White Sox organization, Clayton Richard and Aaron Poreda. Poreda is a developing 2007 first round draft pick who should compete for a position in the Friar’s rotation immediately. Why not? Who else do they have?

Hmmm…I wonder what the San Diego Union Tribune will cover in tomorrow’s news, Adam Lambert losing American Idol or Peavy getting dealt. Hmmmmmm……I hope Vegas is taking bets b/c my money is on Lambert while Friar Nation sleeps.

Adam Lambert is more popular than Jake Peavy

One Response to “Peavy to White Sox?”

  1. I do not like the fact that Adam Lambert is from SD. Very gayish.
