Before the 2008 NFL season, everybody had Pittsburgh and Arizona picked to go to the Super Bowl, right? Stop lying to yourself.
See, this is what sets the National Football League apart from other professional leagues (Pirates fans, you know what Im talking about). Every year each team must start from scratch (WHO DEY in 2009!) and earn their way to the promised land. This year, the Arizona Cardinals shocked the world with impressive playoff wins in straight weeks, seen as underdogs by Vegas, but overcoming the odds to win the NFC Championship.
On the other side, you have the best defense the NFL has seen in years, dominating every statistic category there is. The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to fend off divisional rival Baltimore Ravens without taking out their star quaterback this playoff season (Kimo Van Oelhoffen, I hate you) to win yet another AFC Championship. The Terrible Towels will be waving in Tampa this Sunday. Yinz can count on it.
Leave your picks on the comment page. All results will be posted on Monday morning. Also, we will be posting cumulative records for the playoffs for everyone that has participated. Here’s what the MG Staff has for Super Bowl XLIII…enjoy the game.

Seriously COV, what the deal with a push? Have some confidence in your offense. Then again, maybe a push is the right way to go.
